How the Math Works

The math that goes into generating the WSJF Score for each feature multiplies the feature's value by the time criticality, and then divides that result by the job size.
This method provides gives us a clearer picture than the Value vs Effort method as it forces us to use the Fibonacci sequence to score each feature uniquely in terms of the different categories along a broader range. It also helps us expand our concept of "value" by considering the value a feature may provide coming from risk reduction and opportunity enablement. Finally, it also adds weight to the time criticality of a feature.
